Omni Bar for YouTube — Privacy Policy
Omni Bar for YouTube ("the extension") is a Chrome extension published by ExtensionCreatorCO. It recolors YouTube's progress bar and logo, and adds optional SponsorBlock segment skipping, Return YouTube Dislike counts, a Hide Shorts option, a pitch-black dark mode, and an optional tip link. This policy explains what data the extension handles and where it goes.
- No accounts. You never sign up or log in to use the extension.
- No analytics and no tracking. The extension does not collect usage statistics, browsing history, or identifiers.
- No selling of data. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data, and we do not run ads.
Settings stored on your device
Your choices (colors, toggles, and similar preferences) are saved with Chrome's extension storage, chrome.storage (sync or local). If you use Chrome sync, Chrome may sync these settings between your own browsers under Google's terms. ExtensionCreatorCO never receives them.
Third-party services the extension contacts
Some optional features need data from a public service. Only the minimum needed is sent, directly from your browser:

Like any web request, these services can see your IP address and browser details. Turning a feature off stops its requests.
Optional tips
The tip link opens a Stripe Payment Link. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. The extension never sees, receives, or stores card numbers or any other payment data.
